All reservations must dine on our fixed-price à la carte menus with a minimum of two courses and a maximum 2 hour seating time.

 

For groups of 10 or more, all guests must dine on our three-course Menu Gourmand for either lunch or dinner.

 

We are ‘service continu’ so we do not close between services - Walk-ins are welcome all day, any time from 12pm—late and can dine on our bar menu.

 

Kids under 12 are able to dine on our kids menu.

 

The maximum party size we can accommodate for any reservation is 14 guests, for anything beyond this check out or Le Salon Privé or Le Jardin Terrasse for a private event.

  • Can we come in for a drink?
    Oui, our Terrasse/Brasserie are the ideal spots for a French and fabulous beverage.
  • Do you have vegan options?
    Oui, we have a vegan menu which is available every day for lunch and dinner.
  • Can we bring our dogs?
    Our outdoor Greville Street Terrasse is dog-friendly. Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in any other area of the restaurant.
  • Do I need to provide credit card details?
    Oui, credit card details are required for all reservations regardless of online or via the phone. There is no charge on your card for making a reservation, it's held as a security. If you fail to show up to your booking or cancel within the timeframe of our cancellation policy, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
  • Do you serve French champagne?
    Oui!
  • We want to stay longer than 2 hours, is it possible?
    If you’d like a longer seating time, please book the later sitting time (eg. from 2:15pm for lunch or from 8:15pm for dinner)
  • What is in your Secret Herb Butter Sauce?
    It’s a secret!
  • Do you have a happy hour?
    Oui! We have Apéro Hour from 4pm—6pm daily on la Rue de Greville Terrasse.
  • Can we just come in for one course, the steak frites?
    Oui, walk-ins can dine on our bar menu which features our Steak Frites. All reservations must dine on our fixed-price à la carte menus with a minimum of two courses and a maximum 2 hour seating time.
  • Do you cater to dietary restrictions?
    We can cater to most dietary restrictions, please advise when you make your booking and advise the waiter when you arrive at the time of your sitting.
  • Is your meat halal?
    Our beef is halal - for any other dishes of concern please contact our staff as our seasonal menu and suppliers change occasionally.
  • Can we bring our own wine or cake?
    Due to health and safety regulations, we do not allow outside food to be brought on to our premises. You are welcome to preorder a celebration cake from us with at least 48 hours notice. BYO wine is available on Monday to Thursday lunch time only. Available from Monday to Thursday during lunch hours for a fee of $29.90 per bottle, exclusive of meal costs. Guests are invited to bring one 750ml bottle of wine per person, with a maximum of 8 guests per table. Reservations are highly recommended and should mention the BYOWine offer. While our team will take great care with yourwine, Entrecôte cannot be held responsible for the quality of the wine or for opening aged bottles with brittle corks. The selection and change of glassware are at the sommelier's discretion. To ensure a seamless experience for all our guests, we kindly request adherence to these guidelines.
  • Can I bring flowers and/or decorations for my table?
    Our tables have limited space so we are unable to accommodate large flowers or decorations. Small touches are acceptable however you will need to dispose of them after your reservation.
  • Do you have any high-chairs or room for prams?
    Non, unfortunately our restaurant space is very limited so we are unable to accommodate prams and do not have any high chairs.
  • Do you have parking?
    We do not have dedicated parking spaces, however there is plenty of street side parking close by on Izzet Street or the car park located at Prahran Square.
  • Is it a different menu in the main dining room as opposed to the Brasserie?
    All bookings in every area are offered the same set-price à la carte menu and service.
  • What happens if I am running late?
    We hold your table for fifteen minutes. Please call us if you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate however if the table is re-booked this could lead to reduced dining time for yourself. It is best to plan ahead for traffic etc.
  • Is the Menu Rapide available for lunch on weekends?
    Non. The Menu Rapide is only available on weekdays Monday to Friday for lunch service.
  • Is your café/restaurant dog-friendly? 🦮
    We love dogs, however they're only allowed outdoors and they are not permitted anywhere indoors. From Google: According to Victoria's Food Standards Code, businesses may allow dogs into outdoor areas that are not also used for food preparation. They're not allowed in enclosed areas, defined as areas substantially or completely closed by ceilings, roofs, windows or walls
  • Do you serve breakfast?
    Yes, our Parisian café next door serves a great selection of "Le Petit Dèjeuner" breakfast & "Dèjeuner" lunch in an elegant Parisian setting. 🇫🇷 Come for coffee & croissants, a plated brunch, and so much more!
  • Do you serve breakfast on the terrace?
    We do serve breakfast daily from 8am from our little café next door - Le Petit Marché! Scan the QR code or head to the counter to order. We have ample seating on the Greville Street Terrasse to pretend you are in Paris.
  • Can I purchase the sauce for home?
    Oui, we have our Entrecôte à la Maison product range, available from Le Petit Marché or from our stockists.
  • I would like to arrange a photoshoot at Entrecôte, is that possible?
    Oui, there is a fee involved to use our space for photoshoots subject to availability - our space may be booked from 7:30am - 10:30am Monday to Wednesday at $1200 for up to 3 hours. This includes a light morning tea from Le Petit Marche.
  • Do you do takeaway or food delivery?
    Oui, we have a takeaway shop nextdoor, Le Petit Marché is open from 8am—3pm daily. We are no longer on UberEats/Deliveroo. For home delivery, try our complete-at-home meals delivered to your home via Providoor.
  • Can I come and purchase a gift card? Do you have a physical gift voucher I collect?
    Our digital gift cards can be purchased via our website and will be sent instantly via email to the recipient or you can have it emailed directly to yourself to pass on as a gift. Prepaid physical gift certificates can be purchased in our restaurant or Le Petit Marché.
  • Does your restaurant have disability access?
    Oui, we have a Motorised Stair Climbers for Personal Mobility. Please notify the restaurant prior to your arrival so we have this ready for you.
